Edit Volunteer info "Volunteers are the glue that holds everything together and without volunteers The Humane Society would suffer greatly. We are always in need of volunteers. We offer many volunteer opportunities for all ages! You can help us clean, scoop litter boxes, fold laundry, wash dishes, walk dogs, pull weeds, and even brush and socialize the cats, just to name a few things!  Volunteering is good for your emotional, physical, and mental health. It is scientifically proven that spending time with animals helps lower your stress levels and blood pressure. Children are always welcome to volunteer as well, if under the age of 16 we do require they be accompanied by an adult. "
